Make Your Own Almond Milk
(Super Easy)

Unlike milk, which results in bloating and discomfort, almond milk can actually be a de-bloater. Plus, it’s low in calories, about 40 to 60 per glass.  And while almond milk only supplies one gram of protein compared to cow’s milk’s eight grams per eight ounce serving, most people turn to milk for it’s high calcium content, not the protein it provides. Luckily, almond milk packs 25 to 30 percent of the recommended daily allowance in just one serving along with a good dose of calcium’s friend vitamin D. Not sold yet? Almond milk is cholesterol-free, vegan, and perfect for those with soy allergies.
